About Prowess Edge

At Prowess Edge Consulting, we believe safety is the foundation for a thriving learning environment. In this crucial role, you'll be our resident safety superhero, partnering with schools and districts to develop and implement comprehensive, effective safety plans.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with school leaders and stakeholders to assess current safety protocols and identify areas for improvement.
  • Become an expert in best practices for school safety, emergency preparedness, and crisis management.
  • Develop customized safety plans that address a variety of potential threats, including natural disasters, active shooter situations, and mental health emergencies.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to equip staff with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively to emergencies.
  • Conduct safety audits and drills to ensure plans are up-to-date and staff is prepared.
  • Stay current on the latest trends and best practices in school safety legislation and technology.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in Education Leadership, School Safety Administration, Public Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in K-12 education, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful safety plans.
  • A strong understanding of federal and state school safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to build trust and rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
